Accra Lions’ U19 team has arrived in Germany to begin a three-week pre-season tour aimed at preparing the squad for the upcoming campaign while strengthening the club’s international partnerships.

The young side will first visit German partner club Eintracht Frankfurt, where they are expected to gain valuable exposure through training sessions and exchange activities with the Bundesliga outfit.

Following their stay in Germany, the team will travel to Sweden for a series of friendly matches against IFK Norrköping and IK Sirius.

The tour forms part of Accra Lions’ youth development programme, providing the players with an opportunity to test themselves against quality European opposition while gaining experience in different football environments.

The pre-season trip is also expected to strengthen the club’s ties with its European partners and offer the young talents increased exposure as they continue their development ahead of the new season.
