Coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang has embarked on an extensive European tour with Progen FC as the Ghanaian youth club competes in three of the continent’s biggest youth football tournaments.
The founder and head coach is currently leading the team at the Donosti Cup in Spain, where Progen FC will compete until July 12 as part of its international development programme.
Following the tournament in Spain, the team will head to Sweden for the prestigious Gothia Cup, scheduled from July 13 to July 20, before concluding its European campaign at the Norway Cup in Oslo, which runs from July 20 to August 3.
The back-to-back tournaments will provide Progen FC’s young players with the opportunity to test themselves against top youth teams from across the world while gaining valuable international experience.
Agyemang, who founded Progen FC, has remained committed to developing young footballers by creating pathways for them to showcase their abilities on the global stage.
The European tour forms part of the club’s long-term vision of exposing its talents to high-level competition and increasing their chances of earning opportunities abroad.
Progen FC has built a reputation for identifying, nurturing and developing the next generation of football talent, with the latest overseas campaign expected to further enhance the club’s growing profile.
