Black Stars defender Razak Simpson has completed a move to Finnish top-flight side Vaasan Palloseura (VPS), signing a five-year contract with the club.
The centre-back joins the Veikkausliiga outfit after an impressive campaign with Nations FC, where he captained the side and played a key role in their successful 2025/26 season.
Simpson also enjoyed success on the domestic front, helping Nations FC lift the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup, while his consistent performances earned him a place in the Black Stars squad.
The long-term deal marks the defender’s first move to European football and represents a significant step in his career as he looks to establish himself in Finland’s top division.
VPS will hope Simpson’s leadership qualities, defensive solidity and experience at both club and international level will strengthen their squad ahead of the remainder of the season.
The Ghanaian is expected to join his new teammates immediately after completing all transfer formalities.
