The former Chief Executive Officer of the National Food and Buffer Stock Company Limited (NAFCO), Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba, has been released from the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) after his arrest on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Sources familiar with the matter told GhanaWeb that Hanan was released on the night of July 8, 2026, without any bail conditions.
According to the sources, his release followed an intervention by his lawyer, Godfred Yeboah Dame, who reportedly informed the authorities that his client would not agree to the conditions they had proposed.
