Stalwart midfielder Shawkan Mohammed returns to the Ghana Premier League and has signed for Aduana FC ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 23-year-old joins the Fire Club as a free agent after parting ways with Tunisian giants Club Africain, becoming one of the club’s latest additions as they strengthen their squad for the new campaign.
Shawkan has signed a long-term contract with the two-time Ghana Premier League champions and is expected to bolster the midfield with his experience despite his young age.
Before his move to Tunisia, the midfielder established himself as one of Accra Lions’ key players, making 68 appearances and scoring once across three seasons and was even on the radar of giants Asante Kotoko.
His move marks a return to Ghanaian football after his stint in North Africa, with Aduana FC hopeful he can rediscover the form that made him one of the league’s promising midfielders.
The Dormaa-based club continue to reshape their squad ahead of the new season as they target a strong challenge in the Ghana Premier League.
