Bechem United are set to extend the contract of attacker Aminu Mohammed as the club moves to secure the forward’s long-term future ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
Mohammed joined the Hunters on a one-year deal last season and impressed sufficiently to convince the club’s hierarchy to open discussions over a new contract. The proposed extension reflects Bechem United’s confidence in the attacker’s abilities and his importance to the team’s plans.
Club officials are understood to be finalizing the details of the new agreement, with both parties expected to reach an agreement in the coming days.
Retaining Mohammed is part of Bechem United’s strategy to maintain the core of their squad while strengthening key areas before the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
The contract extension would provide the club with continuity in attack as they aim to build on last season’s performances and challenge for a stronger finish in the upcoming league campaign.
