The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has successfully concluded its all-female CAF License C Coaching Course at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram, marking another significant step in the development of women’s football in Ghana.

The intensive programme brought together aspiring and practicing female coaches from across the country to enhance their technical expertise, coaching methodology and leadership skills in line with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) coaching curriculum.

Throughout the course, participants engaged in both theoretical and practical sessions covering modern coaching principles, player development, match analysis, training methodology and football management. The programme also placed strong emphasis on safeguarding, professionalism and the vital role women play in shaping the future of football.

The initiative forms part of the GFA’s broader strategy to increase the number of qualified female coaches and strengthen the technical foundation of women’s football at the grassroots and elite levels.

Officials believe the successful completion of the course will equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to make meaningful contributions to the growth of the women’s game across the country.

The CAF/GFA All-Female License C Coaching Course reinforces the Association’s commitment to creating more opportunities for women in coaching while building a sustainable future for women’s football in Ghana.
