Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Port City have appointed experienced coach Christopher Ennin as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The club confirmed the appointment as it begins preparations for its maiden campaign in the Ghanaian top flight, with Ennin tasked with leading the team’s quest to establish itself among the country’s elite clubs.
Ennin joins Port City with a wealth of coaching experience, having previously managed Ghana Premier League outfits Berekum Chelsea and FC Samartex. His appointment is expected to strengthen the club’s technical setup as it looks to build a competitive squad for the upcoming season.
The former Berekum Chelsea and Samartex tactician is widely regarded for his knowledge of the domestic game and his ability to develop competitive teams.
Port City will now turn their attention to pre-season preparations under Ennin as they seek to make a strong impression in their debut Ghana Premier League campaign. The club is expected to bolster its squad in the coming weeks before the new season gets underway.
