Asante Kotoko have begun negotiations with Division One League side Debibi United over the possible signing of forward Kwadwo Antwi.
The Porcupine Warriors are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season and have identified the 22-year-old attacker as a key transfer target. Discussions between the two clubs are underway as Kotoko seek to secure Antwi’s signature.
Although negotiations are still at an early stage, the Kumasi-based club are hopeful of reaching an agreement with Debibi United in the coming days.
Antwi has attracted attention with his performances and is regarded as one of the promising young forwards in the domestic game. His potential arrival would bolster Kotoko’s attacking options as the club prepares for its upcoming domestic and continental assignments.
Neither Asante Kotoko nor Debibi United has officially commented on the ongoing talks, while details of the proposed transfer fee and contract terms remain undisclosed.
