The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will begin Module II of the FIFA/CAF All-Female Licence C Coaching Course on Monday, July 6, with all 30 participants expected to report to the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram on Sunday, July 5.

The second phase of the programme follows the successful completion of Module I, where participants demonstrated strong commitment during both theoretical and practical training sessions.

Following the first module, the participants completed a compulsory one-month internship with clubs of their choice. Throughout the attachment, GFA instructors monitored their progress, assessed their performance and provided guidance to ensure the effective application of the coaching knowledge acquired during the initial phase.

Module II will run until Wednesday, July 15, combining classroom instruction with practical on-field sessions aimed at enhancing coaching expertise, leadership qualities and technical skills.

At the end of the 10-day programme, participants will undertake both theoretical and practical examinations. Successful candidates will earn the CAF Licence C Coaching Diploma, qualifying them to pursue professional coaching opportunities under CAF regulations.

The FIFA-funded initiative forms part of the joint efforts of FIFA, CAF and the GFA to strengthen the technical capacity of women in football and increase the number of qualified female coaches across Ghana.

The programme also aligns with the GFA’s long-term strategy to promote gender inclusion, develop women’s football and create sustainable pathways for female coaches through continuous education and capacity-building initiatives.
